About the role

Lead a high-performing engineering pod building critical platform capabilities for a global logistics technology company serving enterprise customers.

What you'll own

Strategy & architecture. Own pod technical strategy, architecture, system design, backend scalability and production reliability; align quarterly roadmaps to business OKRs.
Delivery & operational excellence. Own delivery commitments, sprint cadence, release quality gates, incident prevention, observability, cost and customer outcomes.
People leadership. Hire, coach and retain engineers; run effective 1:1s, code reviews, design reviews, sprint planning and retrospectives.
Cross-functional partnership. Work with Product, Design, QA and DevOps on roadmap decisions, technical trade-offs and dependencies; stay hands-on in debugging and code review.

What we're looking for

6+ years of software engineering and 3+ years of engineering leadership.
Direct hands-on experience in OCR, invoice/form parsing or LLM-based document extraction. RPA, generic integrations or support work alone are insufficient.
Demonstrated AI-agent redesign of engineering workflows with verification controls and measured productivity gains.
High-scale SaaS or enterprise software, Python/Java/Go/Ruby, distributed systems, APIs, testing, CI/CD and observability.
