About the role

Founding lead engineer for an institutional data marketplace powering frontier-model post-training. Build secure, rights-cleared, training-ready data supply systems and customer-facing experiences.

What you'll own

Scale and ingestion. Build reliable distributed systems to process high-volume data, integrations and connectors while controlling cost.
Marketplace and valuation. Build data-owner onboarding, accounts, agreements, discovery and privacy-preserving sampling and valuation workflows.
Privacy, security and lineage. Develop secrets/PII clearance, secure storage, access controls, traceable provenance and revocation.
Dataset delivery. Convert buyer requirements into secure, repeatable packaging and delivery workflows; choose build vs. open source pragmatically.

What we're looking for

8+ years developing production software, including 2+ years leading a team of four or more engineers.
Graduated from an IIT, BITS, NIT, IIIT or equivalent Tier 1 engineering institution (mandatory).
Production systems you designed and operated, plus customer-facing software you personally shipped.
Privacy/security-sensitive software, DPDP/GDPR/HIPAA/SOC 2 or deployment in customer environments are advantages.
